Evaluation of Yellow Rust Reactions in some Bread and Durum Wheat Varieties by Using Spectral Band Regions

چکیده
Yellow rust (caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici) is an important fungal disease affecting wheat production and quality. The purpose of this study was to identify the spectral band regions that influence how changes throughout year determining plant responds yellow when it applied test materials at various doses (0%, 25%, 50%, 100%). Eser, Bayraktar 2000 Demir varieties showed high correlation in early-mid period for bread varieties, while Kenanbey variety exhibited mid-late period. Effective region all types are Red+Red Edge+ Near Infrared (NIR) range NIR both increase (+) severity values. Eminbey Çeşit-1252 durum displayed early period, followed Mirzabey medium Kızıltan-91 mid late Kızıltan 91 Edge+NIR region, Green+Red Green+Red+Red Edge were effective ranges reactions.

Diversity of Resistance Gene Analogues in Rust Resistance and Susceptible Bread Wheat Varieties
Fungal diseases, especially leaf and stripe rusts are wheat yield reducing factors in Iran and the world. In this study, genetic diversity of 20 wheat varieties with different response to leaf and stripe rusts were studied using primers designed based on the conserved regions of plant disease resistance genes. The banding patterns of polymorphic markers were scored as dominant and number of amp...
متن کاملEffect of yellow rust disease on agronomic and physiological characteristics of winter and facultative bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars
To investigate the effect of yellow rust disease on some agronomic and physiological characteristics of bread wheat cultivars, two field experiments were conducted in Agricultural Research Station of Miandoab in West Azerbaijan, Iran, in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 cropping seasons. Experimental treatments were arranged as factorial in randomized complete block design with three replications. Treat...

The present study aimed at investigating the effect of different levels of nitrogen on yield and yield components of bread and durum wheat. To this end the experiment was conducted in 2010-2011 in south west of Iran as split plots based on randomized complete block design with three replications. Main plot included four levels of nitrogen 60, 120, 180, 240 kg.ha-1 and the sub plot included four...
متن کاملResistance Potential of Bread Wheat Genotypes Against Yellow Rust Disease Under Egyptian Climate
Yellow rust (stripe rust), caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici, is one of the most destructive foliar diseases of wheat in Egypt and worldwide. In order to identify wheat genotypes resistant to yellow rust and develop molecular markers associated with the resistance, fifty F8 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) derived from a cross between resistant and susceptible bread wheat landraces w...
